Chitrakalpa Sen is an Assistant Professor (Economics) at Jindal Global Business School. Sen teaches courses in the areas of Economics and Econometrics. His primary area of research is the study of high frequency financial market dynamics. Sen’s other research interests include but not limited to Econometrics of green stocks and models of shared economy. His papers are regularly published in international journals. He has authored/co-authored a number of books with reputed international publishers. An economist by training, Sen holds a M.Sc. in Economics with first class from the University of Calcutta and a PhD from West Bengal University of Technology. His PhD thesis was on Indian foreign exchange market which dealt with the volatility dynamics in the market and the underlying chaotic behaviour. Before joining Jindal Global Business School, Sen taught at BML Munjal University and had a brief teaching stint at Ansal University. He has also taught at Auro University and GD Goenka World institute.
