Yasodhara Rakshit has a B.A. (Hons) Literature from Miranda House, Delhi University. She went on to pursue a Postgraduate degree in Print Journalism from Asian College of Journalism. She has worked and written for publications like The Statesman, Tehelka and The Times of India. She was an Assistant Curator at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts. Ms. Rakshit was also a food critic at The Telegraph in Calcutta. She has a Masters in Cinema Studies from JNU. She teaches and has ongoing research on the intersectionality of gender and cinema with a focus on Masculinity Studies and the Female Spectral presence in Cinema.
